As part of our Get Active Locally project we're really pleased to have a great opportunity for 16 people to join us at our event management masterclass :)
Curly's Athletes working with Active fusion are looking to give local people some of the skills needed to run and manage active events in their communities.
This also includes the possibility of joining the delivery team alongside Active Fusion and Curlys on the day of events.
Initially this is a four hour workshop which will cover how to lead an event, from constructing the initial idea, marketing, safety management and operational control plus plenty more top tips and plenty of opportunity for discussions.
For future we may well then expand, and offer an additional workshop for this group to support further development.
We ask for a small donation to confirm your place of £5 (all of which goes to the Active Fusion Charity)
The day will be a mix of classroom based activities, talks and group work and we hope (weather dependant!) a spot of outdoor activity ! ... we will keep it fun and interesting :)
The events take place on the Doncaster Cycle track right next to the Dome.
